Niche Sites Enhance Money-Making Power of Articles

A primary business tool on hold

Choosing a good niche subject to base your website around is one of the most important aspects of making money from articles, whether those articles are written by an article marketer, website publisher, ghost writer or other capable writer. Such a site will provide its owner with a foundation from which to build, making it more conducive to targeting one general audience with a pack of keywords that they are most likely to have searched for.

That having been said, an article marketer, affiliate or other article writer should take each one of the keywords and use it on the basis of one article to each page. This way, even though an individual may be targeting one specific subject, s/he will be sure to attract the interest of a wide variety of readers in that specific niche.

Furthermore, readers might also find other pages that interest them, which will keep them returning to the original website to obtain new information about the niche subject. It is interesting to note that the best way to find keywords for a particular niche subject is to use a keyword software program – similar to Google AdWord Keyword Tool – and type in words which are most closely associated with the selected niche.

Using a keyword search tool like the one mentioned above will generate a list of keywords or phrases that contain your niche and will also provide the user with an approximation of how many people searched for each word or phrase. Some software programs may also tell you how many sites are out there to compete with for each word or phrase (this in turn will let the user know if those sites are worth competing with for the number of searches out there).

You, as an article marketer, article writer, or affiliate, can then deicide which set of the resulting search data would be most profitable; you will do this by making a simple by determination as to which set has the least amount of competitors, and be doing so you will be able to calculate your chances at making it to the first or second page of search engine results.

Of course a by-product of all this research work you would’ve done is attracting an increased number of readers looking for that keyword or phrase each month. It is therefore these researched keywords and/or phrases that you will base the pages of your niche site on. If there are specific topics you like, pick the one you believe would be easiest to start with and then, once that site is built and generating some revenue, you can start another site.

The most profitable website marketers, who use their niche-research talent and combining that with good site content along with a handful of affiliate links have a good amount, as well as a variety of niche sites that they have started. You are never limited in what you can do with niche website marketing, unless you learn that you do not have the marketing skills or the required funding to make it happen; otherwise the sky is the limit.
